In my search for a PCE approved contractor to partner with to begin electrifying my home, I was fortunate to find EmeraldECO. Of the 3 contractors I reached out to, EmeraldECO really shined in their sharp expertise and personalized approach to understand what I needed and how they could help. I needed expertise, comprehensive consultation, impeccable communication, and clear organization to navigate the hoops that the zero interest loan provider and state and local rebates required. Diane, Anielka, Eric & team really came thru on all of the above with stellar service to boot. They were proactive in prioritizing what needed to be done, what they needed from me, and next steps. Things felt smooth and easy as their team worked diligently, neatly, and quickly as planned. Their workmanship was top notch to get a quick approval from city inspection. We swapped my gas water heater for an electric heat pump water heater with the zero interest loan with PCE, Golden State, and TechClean rebates cleared. The only friction came from the rebate processing on the TechClean side but EmeraldECO would go to bat for me until they finally approved it. I'm ecstatic with the new electric heat pump water heater and feel great to know we've made a greener choice to get one step closer to going all electric. I plan to use them down the road once I'm ready for solar and batteries. Thank you Diane & team for your amazing work and partnership!

We’ve worked with EmeraldEco twice, once in 2020 to install an electric heat pump water heater and again this year, when they ran wiring and upgraded our electrical panel--so we could swap our gas cooktop for induction and have EmeraldEco replace our gas-fired furnace with a heat pump under the technically-demanding California HEERHA rebate program. Thanks to EmeraldEco’s expertise, attention to detail and excellent guidance, our house is now 100% electric on our original 100 amp service (including our existing heat pump dryer and rooftop solar) and their savvy redesign of our electrical panel’s circuitry ensures we can still add an EV fast charger in the future without having to upgrade beyond our 100 amp service. We love the new electric appliances EmeraldEco has sourced for us—the heat pump in particular has made a noticeable difference keeping our house consistently warm and more comfortable. They’ve saved us a LOT of money through their competitive project bids and their efforts to secure state rebates on our behalf. Every member of their team has been professional and a pleasure to work with—recommend them very highly!

We employed the services of emeraldECO for our electrification project based on our neighbor’s recommendation.. emeraldECO installed a Heat Pump water heater and upgraded our HVAC system with Heat Pumps - replaced 2 gas furnaces and condensers. They also pre-wired our house for eventual induction cooktop. We are extremely happy with the results. We love the fact that our house is now energy efficient and less reliant on gas. As a byproduct, we now have a MUCH quiet HVAC system. Unlike before, we now don’t even hear the heater/AC come on which is a welcomed change. Eric and Diane have been wonderful to work with. I love their passion for the work they are doing. They are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently. Couple of rooms in our house were getting more/less warm/cold air compared to other rooms. Eric suggested adding returns in those rooms which has really helped balance the air flow throughout the house. The whole project was extremely well managed from start to finish. Diane and Anielka kept us informed at every stage of the project - including when and how to apply for various rebates. The installation was on scheduled and very well done. The crew was very professional, cleaned up very well after they were done every day. Finally, Diane visited us after we had used the system for couple of weeks to make sure that things were working fine and also to answer our questions. That really shows their commitment to the work and their genuine effort to make sure that their customers are happy. I highly recommend emeraldECO for any electrification needs you may have.

We highly recommend Diane and Eric at emeraldECO. They installed a new heat pump HVAC and also a heat pump water heater, and applied for the rebates (so far we received $5,500 on the HVAC between rebates and a federal tax credit). Applying for rebates is so complicated, but they did all the work for us, which is hugely helpful. They are very easy to work with, responsive - Diane even took a call while in the parking lot of a rehab place she was visiting a relative, which is going above and beyond for sure - and so knowledgable. EmeraldEco was recommended by two friends who are leading environmental activists locally, and we are so glad we went with them.

Great experience working with emeraldECO. They installed a highly efficient fully electric heat pump system to provide central air conditioning and heat. They also replaced the heating ducts throughout the entire house. As excellent consultants, they guided us through system operation and management. The installation went very well: they followed our agreed upon schedule and all the employee installers were professional and knowledgeable. emerald ECO offers more than installation of heat pump systems. They have the knowledge and expertise in the field of sustainability and new technology and can help reduce dependence on fossil fuels. From the initial estimate through follow-up visit post-completion, we are extremely satisfied with the heat pump system and the work completed by emeraldECO. We can highly recommend this business.

EmeraldEco has been great to work with. Just yesterday I got a call from Diane. She had been trying to get our synagogue rebate oon work that had been completed almost a year before. She finally got it and let me know about. They really go the extra step for their customers.
